Can’t believe It’s here! The Official Theme Song for Expo 2020 Dubai! Not just a great anthem which aims to excite and bring people together, it also provides the 4 note melodic foundation for Expo’s entire sonic branding and the soundtrack you’ll experience all around you when you visit!
I really put everything into this project, having always wanted to do a theme song ever since I first heard Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé’s incredible performance of “Barcelona” as a kid. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with longtime talented friends, which opened doors to working with music industry legends and then really exciting film directors and production companies.
It’s been an unbelievable journey. From this song doubling up as Expo’s sonic branding, to Hussain Al Jassmi singing the first line In English and Expo staff kids doing sign language in the video, I’m super proud of how everything I hoped for eventually turned out! I hope you will enjoy our song as much as i have enjoyed this journey …
